Photo Booth Backdrop

You can purchase a beautiful sequin backdrop on Amazon. These backdrops come in a variety of colors, so you are sure to find one that matches your theme.

Purchase backdrop support stands. Backdrop support stands are for hanging your sequin backdrop. Or to save more money, simply nail or hang the backdrop to the wall (if your venue allows it.)

 

 

Tablet/Camera

If your budget allows you can purchase an iPad Pro; or you can buy a cheap 10 inch android tablet on Amazon.  Make sure your tablet has a front facing camera.

 

Standing Tablet Stand

You need an adjustable tablet stand to hold your tablet.

 

Video Light

Now you need light to make sure your guests are lit properly for good quality pictures. You will also need a light stand to hold your video light and angle towards your guests.

 

 

Photo Booth Software

There is free photo booth software available on the Android and Apple App Stores. Search photo booth app in the app store for several options. If you want something more professional, I recommend Simple Booth or Luma Booth. These apps are a bit more complicated to setup but is the best option for a professional photo booth appearance.

These photo booth apps allow for sharing photos by email, text, and social media.

 

Wi-Fi

A wifi network is needed for your guests to get photos instantly to their mobile devices. Ask you venue if they have wifi, if so, enter the wifi code on you tablet and you will be all set.

 

 

Printing

If you would like to add printing to your photo booth setup, it is definitely possible using Simple Booth and Luma Booth. Your best bet is to buy a compact air printer like the Canon Seplhy. The Selphy kit comes with 108 prints. If 108 prints is not enough for your event you can purchase additional paper/ink kits. This printer takes about 2 minutes to print one photo. But hey, you’ve got prints.
